Dr. Cumming is originally from the Plano/Richardson area of north Dallas. He fell in love with the state of Oklahoma after attending the University of Oklahoma for Orthopaedic training. He has always wanted to live in a smaller community and felt that Ardmore should be his permanent home. After completing residency, he moved to Ardmore in 2005 and joined the Bone & Joint Clinic as an Orthopaedic Surgeon. Dr. Cumming’s practice emphasizes on the treatment of orthopaedic injuries including fractures and sports injuries. He also takes interest in total joint replacement, including hip, knee, and shoulder replacements. He performs the advanced reverse total shoulder replacements as well. His hobbies include archery and bow hunting for big game. He is married with three children. He has been in practice at the Bone & Joint Clinic since August, 2005.
